A credentialing body for the rest of your life
Society certifies forklift operators, notaries and scuba divers. Nobody ever certified the person who loads the dishwasher correctly. We thought that was an oversight.
Our mission
CertMyLife exists to give everyday competence the recognition it deserves. Folding a fitted sheet, parallel parking on the first attempt and keeping a houseplant alive for a full calendar year are real skills. They take practice, and people who have them should be able to prove it.
How certification works
Every program follows the same process: a short course written in plain language, quizzes to check your understanding, and a final exam with a published pass mark. Pass, and we issue a formal certificate with a unique credential ID (CML-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and a public verification page that confirms it was earned.
Earnest, with a wink
We take the craft seriously and ourselves slightly less so. The content is genuinely useful and the exams are genuinely graded, so the certificate is genuinely earned. The titles are grand on purpose. That is the joke, and it is also the point.
Every CertMyLife certificate is issued by CertMyLife for completing an online course and passing its assessment. That is exactly what it says, and exactly what the verify page confirms.
Custom programs
Households, offices, friend groups and event organisers commission their own certifications from us, from Certified Office Coffee Steward to Accredited Best Man. Each one comes with its own course, exam and verifiable certificates.
